Thandiwe Marumo is the Operations Manager. Thandiwe is a Metallurgist by profession, with over twenty years of experience in the mining industry. She was previously employed by Anglo American Platinum’s Precious Metals Refinery as the Junior Process Engineer and acted as a Senior Process Engineer for over a year. Then moved to Barplats/Eastplats Crocodile River Mine as a Metallurgist, then Process Engineer and then promoted to Senior Metallurgist. She has acquired senior management, people management and project management skills during her years at the mining industry. She then moved to Thusang METCO, a metallurgical training and consulting company where she acquired training and humar resource development experience as a facilitator, assessor, moderator, mentor and SDF. She then became a skills development consultant and worked with Metskill as a freelance consultant. She then joined Tharisa Minerals as an HRD Coordinator for all the Process Plants.
