South Africa is looking for better ways of educating its people, in the hope of creating a competitive economic global environment. Qualifications include:
– Diploma Chemical Engineering.
– OD ETDP (Occupationally Directed Education Training & Development Practitioner) L5 certificates.
– Assessor certificate.
– Moderator certificate.
– Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) certificate.
– Metallurgy Subject Matter Expert with MQA.
– Registered Assessor and Moderator for Mineral Processing L2-4 with Mining Qualifications Authority.
Thandiwe has over twenty years of mineral processing experience both at junior and senior levels from various mines including Anglo American Platinum, Barplats mine and Tharisa Minerals. She has thorough knowledge of SAQA, NQF and Skills Development Legislation, coupled with extensive experience in skills development and training. She has been involved in development, implementation and monitoring of skills development plans for the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA). Thandiwe has extensive experience with Needs Analysis within an organization coupled with an in-depth understanding of Workplace Skills Plans and Annual Training Reports (ATR). She has been a shareholder at Thusang Metallurgical Training and Consulting Company for three years and contributed immensely to its success.
